For those with patience, flexibility, and a hefty amount of travel points saved (~100k), the Virgin Red Deal presents the most cost-effective option for booking your cruise. Virgin Red is a rewards club owned by Virgin where you can spend Virgin points that can be transferred from several different rewards partners.
Virgin has offered this deal twice in the past: from September 26 to October 31, 2022, and again from June 1 to August 31, 2023. During the most recent promotion, Virgin offered a 5-day cruise in a balcony stateroom for two people (all taxes/fees/gratuities included) for 80,000 points and an 8-day cruise in a balcony stateroom for two people for 100,000 points.
